Three Events. Three Days. One Unforgettable Weekend.
Some weekends genuinely stop you in your tracks. This past Thursday through Saturday, we set up three completely different grazing tables for three completely different celebrations — and honestly, we're still riding the high from it. Each one pushed us creatively in a different direction, and we couldn't be more proud of how they all came together. Here's a look at all three.
House of Glow
A Women's Gala hosted by @herglowslc
Thursday kicked off the weekend at the House of Glow — a women's gala hosted by the incredible community over at @herglowslc. The Commercial Club in Salt Lake City was the perfect venue — chandeliers, tall windows, the kind of room that already has an atmosphere before you add a single piece of decor. We knew the table needed to match that energy without competing with it.
We draped the long banquet table in a floor-length silver satin tablecloth with soft, gathered folds — it photographs beautifully and gives the whole setup that "we thought of everything" feeling before guests even look at the food. The centerpiece was our green grape tower, stacked tall and positioned front and center as a sculptural focal point. Silver candelabras with white taper candles on both sides added warmth and height.
The spread was generous and really lovely — colorful French macarons, charcuterie meats fanned across silver platters, strawberry and cheese bites, crackers, fresh pears, green grapes, and a mix of savory and sweet bites from one end of the table to the other.
"The venue already had so much going for it. Our job was just to make sure the table felt like it belonged there."
Designing for a room full of women who are there to celebrate each other is one of our absolute favorite things. The table became a natural gathering point all evening, and that's exactly what we're going for every time.
She Said Yes
A Bachelorette Party Grazing Setup
Friday was a totally different vibe — and we loved every second of it. Bachelorette parties are some of our most-requested events, and this one was set in a gorgeous modern home with a quartz kitchen island that was just asking to be transformed into something special.
We draped a white satin runner across the island and built the whole design from there. The setup used a mix of silver serving trays and tiered stands at different heights to give the spread movement and dimension. There's something about working with a kitchen island that changes how you think — you're designing in the round, because guests are coming at it from every angle. The countertop became the board.
The food was exactly what a bachelorette party calls for — a tiered strawberry display as a centerpiece, colorful French macarons, charcuterie meats, sliced cheeses, seasonal honey grapes, cucumber sandwich crostinis, our signature marinated olives, and little bites tucked into every corner of the spread.
"Bachelorette parties are where we get to have a little fun with it — and the food should feel just as celebratory as everything else in the room."
One of our favorite things about a kitchen island setup is how naturally social it becomes. Guests gathered around from every side, and the food disappeared fast — which is always the best possible sign.
'Til Death Do Us Party'
An Engagement Party — Planned & Designed by Charcutie
And then there was Saturday. This one was fully ours — we planned and executed the entire event — and the theme was "Til Death Do Us Party." We had so much fun with it.
The whole table was built on a dramatic black satin tablecloth, draped and pooling at the floor. Black ribbon streamers hung down from the ceiling above the table, and we dressed the candelabras with little black lace bows — the kind of detail that's small on its own but adds up to something really atmospheric. On the far left, we built a dark blackberry tower stacked into a pyramid, which was such a satisfying alternative to our classic grape tower. Against the black linen, it looked incredible.
The food spread was huge — pepper jelly crackers on tiered silver stands, sliced pear crostinis on a bed of whipped ricotta, cucumber crostinis, and lox dip with toasted bagels were a few items spanning the full length of the table. Everything went on silver platters, which popped beautifully against the black. The contrast was exactly what this theme needed.
"When every element is working together — the decor, the food styling, the theme — the result is something that feels genuinely cohesive. That's what full-service planning makes possible."
This is honestly what we love most about doing full event planning alongside the grazing table design. When we're involved from the beginning, everything ties together — and it shows. If you're thinking about an engagement party with a real concept behind it, please reach out. This is exactly the kind of thing we love doing.
Your Event, Our Craft
Three days, three wildly different setups, three tables we're genuinely proud of. A formal gala in a chandelier-lit venue, a laid-back bachelorette built across a kitchen island, and a moody themed engagement party we planned from scratch — that range is exactly why we love what we do. No two events look the same. That's kind of the whole point.
If you're planning something in the Salt Lake City area and you want a grazing table that actually fits your event — not just a generic spread dropped on a folding table — we'd love to hear about it. Whether you just need the food or you want us involved in planning the whole thing, we're here for it.

And a huge thank you to @herglowslc for having us at House of Glow, to our bachelorette bride and her crew, and to the couple behind "Til Death Do Us Party" — you all made this one of the best weekends we've had yet.
